Transition Oxford's Activities Include:

• A ‘Pathways Plan' is being generated - the TOP coordinating group meets regularly to grapple with what could become a gargantuan task. Various Chapters are underway, and new contributors are always welcome to review what has been drafted so far and add and comment as so moved.

• Regular open gatherings (see events page) - for all involved or wishing to be involved in Transition Oxford. These include news of what's going on and opportunities to initiate new activities..

• One-off activities and events - we recently organised a tree-planting day in Cutteslowe, North Oxford. (link to page on tree planting)

Action groups - current focus areas for groups include: an Oxford car free day; alternative skills for living; reconnecting with the land and food production; an East Oxford transitioning group; formal and informal education for children; trams; bike repair; car-sharing; group DVD showings; networking with businesses; sharing our transitioning message.

• Developing resources for individuals and groups - including a skills directory, guidance for talking to the media and carbon footprinting guides. View our resources page here.
